My brother asked me to post and i kind of get into this sort of stuff so even though i dont go to your church or know you all, I have been in high school and remember it well. I had my struggles and at times was stiff necked and ended up hurting myself way down the road because of that. I rode the fence about a lot of things at that time in my life and looking back wish i wouldn’t have. I’m the type of person that will hear something and almost out of a “prove it” attitude have to learn what they said by doing the opposite. I suppose that’s one way of learning, but i guess sometime i wish iwould have just had faith enough to trust to stay away from certain sin instead of engaging in it and dealing with the consequences. ANYWAY…i’m still learning and growing to not be that way. Being a teenage girl is tough. Looking back it didnt seem like it was really that tough. I just remember feeling like my world was crashing down in highschool a lot. When in reality i would give anything to deal with that same stuff now instead of what i have to deal with. There is this singing group that I recently came upon that i like. A lot of their songs really bring me back to those days of high school. Some apply now, but just didnt want you guys to miss this group like i did. They are Barlow Girl. They have some meaningful songs that I wish i would have lived by the truths they sing about. After you were done writing your post you just needed to do ONE THING … click on the tab that says “Publish” (it is over on the right hand side next to the tab “save”. If you would have hit the “publish” button your post would have been sent immediately to the blog on the web… hope that helps

Last night, we saw the video “When Life Hurts Most” in youth group. For those who missed it or for those who would like to see part of it again. Here is a small excerpt.
This year’s treat tent was a HUGE SUCCESS. We saw over 1,000 people come through our tent. I just wanted to say thank you to all of the teens and sponsors and everyone else who helped make this year’s treat tent a fun and safe place filled with candy and games!!!
